Gathering Strength From Each Other..... for Monday's Country Back Roads

This is not the first time,
my camera has captured these two old barns.

They speak out to me.
 So much so,
that I cannot pass by them without a quick look.

You do the math....driving by once a week,
 for more than 15 years.

True friends
holding each other up, as the years pass by.

Monday, on the Prairie, started with storms and 14 inches of rain.
The sun is now shining...
Enjoy your week !

  1. In the summer Hubby and I love to take drives in the country and seeing old barns is something we like. It seems we see less and less of them though.

    1. I also see less....these two would already be gone, except for the fact they are holding each other up. But soon, they will be gone too !

  3. Your commute sounds like mine! I see certain barns also that I always take notice of. I like the picture of these two.

    1. Hello Debbie...that commute you refer to, is to the nearest Walmart and building supply company....I'm afraid one day they will give up and collapse.

  4. Meggie, these barns remind me of the Bill Withers song "Lean on Me"..Lean on me, when you're not strong
And I'll be your friend, I'll help you carry on... Thanks for capturing them while they are still standing, well almost standing! That for sharing this week and I hope that you will return again.
