About Me

Meggie: If you have been reading my blog for a while, you know my life, raising a family, was in the city. This was my profile when I started the blog in November, 2011..... "I'm a former city girl now living the country life. I'm also a mother to three grown children and four grandchildren. Home, for the last 12 years, has been a 90 year old farmhouse, located on a hill in the Blackland Prairie of Texas. The sometime overwhelming part of my life is the fact that I still have a job in the city." I made a complete turn around in my lifestyle, exchanging the city for the rolling hills on The Black Land Prairie of Texas. As the years rolled by, I decided the farm was more responsibility than I needed. I am now in a much smaller place, still living my life on the Prairie. There is much to discover.... Meggie
