That is so diverse and interesting Meggie, I can't imagine going to my local church and enjoying a rodeo...........I'm afraid it's nowhere near as exciting.........just tea and cake with the vicars wife.
It strikes me as strange that there would be churches for people who work at being a cowboy. Is this unique to Texas? In Minnesota, many churches are unique to country of origin, like Norwegian or German Lutheran or Greek Orthodox but a religion based on occupation seems odd. I'm envisioning a Plumber's Church!

I've seen quite a few over the last 10 years or so in West Texas where we lived until last year. I've never been to one, though.
