A look Down the Road.....on Monday's Country Back Roads

What I see is a fresh start for the week ahead.

The sun is out and the afternoon temperatures will reach 75 degrees.

Now that is what I call a good Monday.

Finding Natural Color in January....for Friday Fences

Even though my part of Texas
has seen some harsh weather conditions in the last few weeks,
there is still beauty to be found.

What comes to mind are color names like...
Burnt Sienna, Burnt Orange or Rusty Brown.

How would you describe it?

Friday is here
and, I am looking forward to a garden project.
Enjoy your day.

Wind Waves on the Prairie.....

Just look at this pond....usually it's as smooth as glass.
This past week end, relentless 35mph winds pounded us.

I had to laugh....I could feel my earrings swinging in the wind,
while I was trying to photograph.

Posing for the camera, this young calf has his winter coat on.

The weather in January has been strange, to say the least.
One week our temperatures dipped down to 21 degrees (felt like 11).

Can you believe the following week it was in the 80's ?

Red Barn High on a Hill.... for Monday's Country Back Roads

With large acreage farms and ranches, here on the prairie of Texas,
it is not easy to find a barn close enough to photograph.

Monday's weather is proving to be perfect
for capturing country scenes like this.

January is flying by.....
Enjoy your week.
