Barn Charm with Monday's Country Back Roads

Seldom do I photograph a new barn, especially a metal one. I go for the "old" buildings that many times are falling down.

What caught my attention was the Texas Flag, whipping in the wind. The colors of the flag complimented the red color of the barn.

It wasn't until I downloaded the photos that I saw the central air conditioning units, located just to the right of the electrical post.

Either they have chosen to cool off some very special animals, or maybe....this is a home built in a barn-like structure.

What do you think?

  1. I've never seen a barn with A/C, unless it's for an office or lab. Some of the horse farms here have things like that as part of the overall barn. I like the metal construction and red as choice of color! If it's actually a house, it's pretty cool!

    1. It looks like might we all might be in agreement on this one. What a view it must be from the upper windows.

  5. It's hard to say what it might be used for, but it's a beautiful red building!

  6. Pretty photo and neat barn. I tend to lean toward the rustic looking barns and think about the history behind them, but this is cool and would be neat if it were a home. Have a great week. Heather

  7. A barn someone could live in. In fact, I know a couple that did sch a thing. Wile having their home built, cleaned out the barn and lived there.
