A Sure Sign Spring is on the Way.....Gardening 2017

This will be my second Spring in the Bungalow....
and the first time my Anna Apple Tree has bloomed.
I've always thought the summers of Texas, were too hot to grow apples.
The Anna Apple is low-chill and also a self pollinator.
Did you know the Daffodil is the national flower of Wales?
The hyacinth bulbs are ready to burst into bloom...
maybe another day or two.
No Spring garden would be complete without a few tulips.
As you can see in the background, from photographing a couple of days later,
the soft pink hyacinths are now in full bloom.
And in contrast,
my tulips have opened with a color surprise...

  1. Your flowers are lovely. We have a few things blooming here too. Much too early, I think!

    1. It may be too early, but I am always ready for Spring to arrive.

  2. Oh, these look good to my winter tired eyes....

    1. Thanks, Rose....this weekend, we may even have some days in the low 80's.

  3. Sooooo many signs of spring!!!

I am up north, and though our snow is about gone, and we have warm temps now...... Winter is not done, with us. :-)

    Gentle hugs,
    Luna Crone
