After Dark....

The Greenhouse at Night
Yesterday, I arrived back at the farm just as the sun was setting. It was nearly dark by the time I unloaded the truck and changed into my gardening clothes. For the photo above, I set my camera on night landscape. The color was a surprise, but, I like it!

Tomatoes after re-potting
I knew it was time to re-pot the first batch of tomato seedlings. Also, Friday is Big Project Day, and there is no time for re-potting 72 tomatos.

Since time was my enemy, I didn't label each seedling. So, I came up with 6 different trays for the 6 varieties of tomatoes. I can always label them another day.

Look at the impatiens that have been growing. They are almost ready to transfer to the flower garden.

My hard-working little garden cart, parked near the greenhouse, is ready for another day of work.

It's time to turn out the lights, except for the grow lamp....

    1. There will be about 300 when I finish. My goal is to start enough to share with 4 other families. It's my way of being a good neighbor.

    1. Elaine, I hope you think this is funny...knowing that I will be photographing it in the coming weeks, helps me keep it organized. It's very easy to let things get out of hand.
As for sharing, why not plant extra and give to others. It is a great way share the love of gardening and put extra food on their table.

    1. After I posted the photos, I thought the same thing. But, as you probably know, underneath it all is hard work. By the way, I love your photos of the baby moose!
