The Color of Pumpkins

I couldn't resist buying these mini-pumpkins, I saw in the produce department, of the the grocery store.

While everything continues to be stacked in plastic containers, from the recent move, it almost seems absurd to be thinking about decorating.

To help keep my sanity, I have cleared one spot, in each room. I think of it as a "vignette of what is to come".

Even outside on the the porch, I have washed the windows. Look how clean....the reflections of my driveway.

Add a little fall color to the chair cushions....and it is beginning to feel like home !

  1. Those little pumpkins are adorable. That pretty autumnal bunting and sparkling windows make the porch look somewhere I would love to sit and chat with you. I'll pop over for tea later.

  7. Clean windows are SO nice! We've done ours, but they need it again, as the harvest grime/dust is so thick. Unpacking takes ages... I always do it in fits and starts. Some days a lot and a week can go by with nary a box touched. Hang in there - you'll get it done in time :) Meantime, go ahead and decorate a bit - it makes a house feel like home XO

    1. Hello Jan...I probably won't cook these. I usually break them open and put them outside for the birds to enjoy! They seem to enjoy the treat and soon the pumpkins disappear.
