The entire fence line seems to be leaning...
it does make me wonder what happened here.
"Don't ever take a fence down until you know why it was put up"
Thanks to Theresa at Run Around Ranch.
to view other interesting fences from around the world.
Leaning fence, that how ours is fast becoming and has many stakes to hold it up, we are loath to replace it because of the cost involved so keep patching away. Great pic.ReplyDelete
The fence almost looks like they built it that way....the post are made of metal and should be strong enough to hold up.Delete
Interesting leaning fence find! it makes you wonder & tilt your head!ReplyDelete
Have a lovely weekend!
That's exactly what I did when I first saw it....I'm thinking that maybe high water and debris rushed through the area. That would be enough to push the stakes over.Delete
Beautiful photo! Love the trees and flowers.ReplyDelete
Maybe the wind did the fence leaning...
I guess there is always that possibility...thanks for your comment.Delete
my guess...hungry cattle herd pressing thru the wires to reach green grass in the ditch. over and over again. :) makes a great shot, though.ReplyDelete
Could be, but the barbed wire looks too tight. Thanks again for hosting Good Fences.Delete
It is pretty weird. I would go with Texwisgirl's guess.ReplyDelete
Love the leaning fence. It just takes one lazy post to pull the rest down - my silly theory. If it is on a floodplain I'd agree with you and the flooding theory. We flood every year or so and have a couple of fences on a bit of a lean, too.ReplyDelete
Hi again Meggie, I left a comment but can't see it. Hope it went where all comments should go.ReplyDelete
It makes for a beautiful shot! Love the wildflowers!ReplyDelete
