Friday's Fences

When I was photographing Brewery on the Bluff this past week end, I saw this opportunity for today's post.

The vintage fencing is called double-looped wire fencing. If you have any stories on this type of fencing, I would like to hear about it.

Today I'm connecting with Jan n' Jer's Friday Fences.

  2. I like this - it serves its purpose well, is simply decorative and not too obtrusive.

    1. Hello Lesley...I think of country cottage when I see it. It is also easy to install.

  3. So glad you found my blog, since the linky for Friday's Fences isn't working! I love this type of fence, but have never seen it this large - usually I have seen it surrounding flower beds...very nice and unique!

    1. Hello Linda...It must have been popular in Texas years ago. You can still buy it if you want that vintage look.

  4. Beautiful, delicate fencing. I also like the walls beyond; do you know what the orange flowers are, Meggie?

The slide show is a great new feature, lovely photographs!

    1. Hello Elaine...can you imagine collecting and stacking all those stones? The orange flower is lantana. I have them in my flower garden. I'll post some pictures next week. It loves the sun.

  9. The fencing is very sweet! And I also LOVE the beautiful rock wall. I'd love to have a rock wall garden someday, maybe for flowers and herbs :)
