Raw beauty!Jane x
I agree with you....
This is one of the prettiest fences I've ever seen. I absolutely love it!
Thank you, Sally. I photographed this fence several months ago. Did you notice, it is also stained.
I love this fence! So unusual.
Hi Cheryl....I could never find out the owner's name. I wanted to ask if they milled the planks on their property. It is very common to do this.
It is rustic, but they have taken the time to smooth the planks which also makes it elegant. I think this is one of my favorite fences you've ever posted. XOXO
Hello Susan....The property is so well-maintained...you can see how they have stained all the planks and the post. It does make a statement!
Rustic, but totally lacking in snow!
If it ever snows again....I'll go back and photograph it just for you!
Thats a great design! Heidi
And, oh so natural....
I would probably end up with splinters, but I would have to draw my hands along that fence, feel the texture and those wonderful undulations. A wonderful fence.
Hello my friend, I had not thought about that. As you can see, some of those planks came from a rather large tree.
Cool fence! I wonder if it's cedar? janet
Hi Janet.....I do believe it is cedar...probably cleared from the land the fence surrounds.
I adore that fence and can feel those wide open spaces calling to me! x
You would love our wide open spaces....I never get tired of driving the country back roads!
It's amazing how something so simple can look so beautiful.........hope you are well Meggie.
Someone did have imagination for this fence....and, I'm over the flu and feeling great again.
oh i love that fencing!
Hello Tanya....I love it too. It is amazing to see up close.
