Friday's Fences

Much to my surprise, I stumbled upon this fence post while trying to photograph Sunflowers.

They have been showing up along the roadside for several weeks now.

As you can see, in the photo, they grow very tall.

I was lucky to get this beautiful close up.......

  4. The wear and texture (has something eaten the centre?) of the wooden post is lovely, I love the perspective. The flowers are simply beautiful, especially that final shot.

    1. Hello Elaine....You are correct about the post. I need to go back and take another look at it. I'm wondering what could have eaten the center like that. Also there might be bees in there, so I will need to be careful poking around.

  10. Was there somebody living inside the fence post? On second thought, it probably wouldn't be a good house with no roof!
